1) Delete or “Who”, not How it:

It may seem counterintuitive. Still, the more you delete from your “to-do” list and delegate the rest to the exact right who, the more time you free up for strategic thinking and high-priority activities rather than worrying about how you do it. Trust or change your team and empower the best people to make MORE decisions and delete more.

2) Meeting Freedom:

Instead of having numerous meetings, consolidate them into fewer, more productive sessions. Many leaders overestimate how necessary they are in meetings and how much more would be gained through more precise, focused time by the most senior leaders. (see #1)

3) Free, Focus and Flow days:

Significant amounts of regular free time and allowing approx. 150 free days a year will boost your productivity, recovery, and clarity in what is most impactful with your time. Have flow days to ease your entire life flow, such as administration, scheduling, and easier personal life activities scheduling and decisions with your time.

Create  short, focus days where you attend meetings, think, and complete more extensive daily activities to get the impact you choose (the 20% of your activities that get the most results)

1) Sleep for More Impact:

Achieve vitality through the power of rest. Often overlooked, adequate sleep is crucial for maintaining high energy levels. Leaders need elite-level bedtime and morning routines that keep them in tip-top shape. By prioritising rest, we empower ourselves to make conscious choices and thrive in every aspect of our lives.

 

2) Up and Down:

Engage in regular movement to maintain your well-being. Daily physical activity helps leaders perform at their best, just like elite athletes. But remember, it's equally important to take breaks to relax and re-energize throughout the day. Whether taking a moment to breathe by the window or going for a walk in nature, these activities play a crucial role in consciously rebalancing ourselves during busy days.

 

3) Fuel Up:

Fuel your leadership with the proper nutrition. As elite leaders, we must treat our bodies like elite athletes. Eating nutritious food can significantly impact our energy levels. Focus on a balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, and hydration, enabling us to thrive and make impactful decisions daily.

1) Three wins a day:

Contrary to popular belief, multi-tasking can reduce efficiency and focus. Instead, concentrate on three wins only in each focus, free and flow day to improve the quality of your work and maintain a clear mind. Write down each night's Wins from today and Wins for tomorrow, and keep your focus on the most impactful three actions for each day.

 

2) Commitment and Focus, not just more “Tasks”:

Having a short, clear set of commitments to yourself helps you focus on what truly matters—intentional focus on what you truly desire. Conscious noticing when your focus (Thinking) is unaligned with your commitments to yourself and loved ones is crucial. ”Notice” and return to the context or facts, not the “self Talk” taking us off track. Our Reset tool in our ebook or a coaching reset will support you with returning self-talk.

 

3) Presence Practices:

Mindfulness activities such as meditation or deep-breathing exercises can enhance focus and mental clarity. These practices help reduce stress, improve overall concentration, and improve your awareness of how you want to show up with a level of focus and calm. Ideally, every day; however, practising these “in the wild” as your presence is a lifetime goal to speed up with a personal Catalyst to improve your “Reset in the moment” capabilities.
